EMPORIA --- Dixie Darlene Hathaway, 62, Emporia, formerly of Hartford, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at an Emporia nursing home.
She was a homemaker.
She was born April 23, 1939, in Lebo, the daughter of Louis F. and Jesse Leah Danford Arb.
She married Dale A. Baysinger Sr. on April 2, 1957. They divorced. She later married Edwin Hathaway. They divorced.
Survivors include five daughters, Diana Michaels, Donna Merlenback, Becky Bridges and Luretta Preeo, all of Hartford, and Sandra Omid, Denver; a son, Dale A. Baysinger Jr., Laramie, Wyo.; five brothers, Willis Arb, Gordon Arb, Raymond Arb and Dennis Arb, all of Emporia, and Gilbert Arb, Johnstown, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home, Lebo. Burial will follow in Hartford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
