-CLAXTON- Ruby Doris Threet 78, passed away Wednesday December 23, 2009 at Evans Memorial Hospital. The Evans County Native was a charter member of Bible Holiness Church of Hagan. She was a housewife. Mrs. Threet was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Threet of 41 years.
Survivors: Her daughter; Martha Strickland of Claxton, one son; Ron (Amy) Smith of Claxton, two nieces; Connie (Avery) Hendrix and Joyce (Pratt) Lockwood of Hagan, two grandchildren; Aylissa and Olivia Smith of Claxton,; and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Saturday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
Funeral: Sunday 2:00 p.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
Burial: Brewton Cemetery.
