Mrs. Margaret Evans, 88, resident of Chesterfield county, died suddenly Wednesday night at the Confederate home, where she had been for about ten days.
As far as was known she leaves no survivors. She lived in Lancaster for several years and was highly esteemed. The body was carried to Lancaster about noon yesterday where funeral services and interment will take place.
