Mrs. Flora Ivens died in the Decatur and Macon County hospital,Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, after an illness of several years, resulting from complication, of diseases. She has been in the hospital for the last three years. Mrs. Ivens was born August 1, 1861, in Ithica, Ohio. She came here from Ohio and was married to John T. Ivens Aug. 16, 1894, Mr. Ivens died several years ago. She is survived by one son, Sylvester Ivens of Decatur, two step-sons, A. V. Ivens and J. T. Ivens, two sisters, Mrs. D. R. Robinsonof Arcanum, O., and Mrs. H. D. Harrison of Dayton, O., and a step-sister, Mrs. W. A. Kinkle of Forsyth. Mrs. Ivens had been a member of the First Methodist church for a number of years.
