The community was shocked this morning to learn of the sudden death of Andrew Norris, pioneer farmer and orchardist of Antelope Valley, about two miles east of Red Bluff. Apparently the end came without warning and his many friends throughout the county were not prepared for the sad news. Mr. Norris had resided in this vicinity for many years and was well known in Red Bluff. He was highly respected in the community. Besides his widow, the decedent is survived by a son, Elgin Norris, county truant officer, and four daughters.
