Jan 21 - Death has again visited our village and has thaken for his victims Uncle Solomon Adams. The deceased was 82 years 10 months and 4 days old. He was a good neighbor, e always had a kind word and a pleasant smile for every one he met, and was a consistant Christian, holding membership in the U.B. church for 45 years. He was a considerate father and a kind and loving husband and he leaves to mourn their loss an aged wife and eight children, a score or more of grandchildren and a considerable number of great-grandchildren. The deceased had been afflicted for several years but he bore his afflicition with christian fortitude, always thinking more about the welfare of others than his own suffering. Thus another good man has gone to that undiscovered country from whose bourne no traveler ever returns. The remains were interred at the Stone Church today, followed by a large procession of relatives and friends.
