George Wolfe, age 93, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry B. Albery, 203 North Washington street. Though in ill health for several months, he was only confined to his bed since last Sunday.
Born on January 21, 1844 near Indianapolis, Mr. Wolfe came to LaPorte with his parents when four years of age. In 1883 he moved to Porter county. He was the last of a family of eight brothers and sisters.
Since the death of his wife thirty years ago he has resided with his daughter, Mrs. Jacob Hermance, south of Valparaiso, and Mrs. H. B. Albery of this city.
Besides his two daughters he leaves two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
