Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Fri. at Zion Lutheran Church, Lake Bronson, with Kathy Levenhagen officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery at Lake Bronson. Visitation will be after 6 P.M. Thur. with a 7 P.M. prayer service at our Karlstad chapel and at the church one hour prior to services Fri.
Myrtle Evelyn Bronson, the daughter of the late Charles and Gina (Johnson) Bengtson, was born on October 23, 1926, on the family farm near Lake Bronson, Minnesota. She attended school and grew to womanhood there, graduating from Lake Bronson High School in 1946. She was baptized and confirmed at Lake Bronson. On August 9, 1947, Myrtle was united in marriage to Dale R. Bronson at Hallock, Minnesota. The couple resided at Hallock until 1948, then moved to Norway Township of Kittson County, near Lake Bronson, where they farmed. In 1962, they returned to Hallock. Dale passed away May 16, 2001, and Myrtle then moved to Drayton, North Dakota. For the past four and one half years, she has resided at the Kittson Memorial Nursing Center in Hallock where she passed away on Tuesday morning, February 9, 2010, at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 16 days.
She is survived by one daughter: Deb (Dan) Nordine.
