Emma Lee Webb Chambers Herbert

Emma Lee Webb Chambers Herbert, 85, of Millboro, died Sept. 14 in a Staunton nursing facility.

Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Major Lee and Mona Wade Webb, both Buchanan County natives.
She was a former employee for the premier store in Red Ash. In 1957, she moved from Cedar Bluff to Cleveland, Ohio and owned a Delicatessen Store where she was a hard working business woman for over 30 years and loved her Bingo. In 2002, she moved to Millboro to live with her son, Bill Chambers, and his wife, Barbara.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ira Raymond Chambers;

her second husband, David Herbert;

and one sister, Francis Casey.

Survivors: daughters, Sherri Shortt Collins and Wanda Waite, both of Chargin Falls, Ohio;

son, Bill Chambers and wife, Barbara, of Millboro;

sisters, Virginia Cole of Waxhaw, N.C., Ruby Wells of Parma, Ohio;

brothers, Harold Webb and wife, Marylou, of Bristol, Tenn., Harmon Webb and wife, Marie, of Richlands, Johnny Webb and wife, Peggy, of Oakwood;

grandchildren, Raymond Chambers and wife, Christine, Cindy Chambers Webb and husband, Bruce, and Shelia Everett and husband, Glenn, all of Staunton, Bill Chambers, Jr. of Millboro, David Waite and wife, Elizabeth, and Ashley Waite, all of Battlecreek, Mich., Kaysea Draheim of East Lansing, Mich., Kristopher Waite of Cleveland, Ohio;

great grandchildren, Erik, Amanda, Christopher, and Melissa Chambers, Taylor Webb, and Shana and Ellen Everett, all of Staunton, T.J. Riffel of Brunswick, Ohio, Jeremy Chambers of Millboro, Isabella and Israel Waite of Battlecreek, Jordin Draheim of East Lansing;

great great grandchild, Travis Coy Riffel of Seville, Ohio;

and several nieces and nephews and their families as well as special care givers, Billy, Rhonda, and Hunter Grimm of Millboro.

The funeral was conducted Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with the Rev. Carter Wells officiating.
Interment followed at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill.
