Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Elkhart Christian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Elkhart Cemetery.
Mrs. Risvold, a lifelong Elkhart area resident, retired from the state social services department and was a member of Christian Women's Fellowship and Elkhart Women's Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan Ewing and Martha Sheldahl, both of Polk City; a son, David, and a brother, Dorus Burgess, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Vernal Higginbottom and Bernice Kendig, both of Elkhart; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ankeny Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
