Burial RItes for Marshall

Graveside rites for Daniel D. Marshall, 69, were conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in Big Spring City Cemetery with Chaplain C. O. Hitt, of Veteran's Hospital in Big Spring, officiating.

Marshall, who died Thursday night in a Big Spring, hospital, was born Oct. 15, 1888 in Grit, Texas.
(The paper said he was born in San Angelo and I corrected it to Grit per family)

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Marshall of Colorado City, one son, a granddaughter and a grandson all of Abilene. (Per Find A Grave guidelines the names of the living family I have omitted the names of the son and grandchildren).
Also three brothers, Leonard Marshall of Camp Verde, Arizona, Frank Marshall of Burnet and Lundy Marshall of Shamrock; one sister Amanda Ray of Marlow, Oklahoma.
(Paper had Amanda's name as Annie but that was an older sister and so I corrected it).

Thank you to a Find A Grave Contributor "Beth" #46910696 for sending me the information that I may post it here on my great Uncles memorial page.
