Elizabeth Kile was born in Ohio June 21, 1852. Departed this life Jan. 5, 1912, aged 59 years, 6 months and 15 days. She was confirmed in the Lutheran Church in 1868 and was married to Henry Kile in 1876. To this union were born seven children, three sons and four daughters, namely, Henry, Maggie, Alma, Charles, Sarah, Nellie and Aaron, all of whom are living except Aaron.

The deceased was a member of the Casey Presbyterian Church. She was a kind neighbor, aa faithful companion and a loving mother. She was a sufferer of dropsy for two years but bore her afflictions patiently until the Lord saw fit to call her where there is no sickness, sorrow, pain nor death. She leaves to mourn their loss a companion, seven children, eighteen grandchildren and many other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at Casey Presbyterian Church January 7th, conducted by Elder John C. Craig, after which the remains were laid to rest in Casey cemetery.
