CASEY - Mrs. Mary J. Stateler, aged 80, died Tuesday of cancer in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy McNurlan on South Central avenue. Funeral services were conducted in the McNurlan home Thursday afternoon by Rev. Carl Polson.
Besides Mrs. McNurlan, Mrs. Stateler leaves four other daughters, Mrs. Elmer Brown, Mrs. Robert Holmes of this city; Mrs. Forest Green of Minnesota, and Mrs. Tom Fitch of Martinsville; also two sons, Michael Stateler of this vincinty and John Stateler of Goodwell, Ok. Burial was in the Casey cemetery.
