Mrs. Velma Graham, 87, of Mexia, passed away February 6, 2010. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Mexia. Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

Velma was born in Slocum, Texas, to the late William "Willie" and Martha Moore. She was a homemaker and also retired from the Mexia State School. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia.

She is survived by her daughter, Louise Magness and her husband, Fenley; son, Don Archibald and his wife, Melinda; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Buddy and Billy Ray Moore; and sister, Margaret Willham.
