Mrs. L. Gertrude Bagby of 1215 Edwards Street, died in her home of a heart attack on Saturday, March 16. She was born in Nora Falls, Iowa in 1880.
Mrs. Bagby had lived in California for 45 years, having moved to San Diego in 1923. Her husband, Mr. Ward Bagby, died nine years ago n San Diego, and she moved to Angwin in 1960 to be hear her only brother, Elder B.H. Shaw. She was a member of Pacific Union College S.D.A. Church.
Survivors include the brother and his wife, their daughter and her husband, Dr. and Mrs. R.K. Boyd, and their son W.B. Shaw of Calhoun, Ga., five grand-nieces and nephews and a great-grand nephew.
Graveside services were conducted yesterday, March 20, in St. Helena Cemetery, by Elder Hayward V. Shafer, of the P.U.C. Church.
