Chester Brandt
NORWAY—Chester A. Brandt, 87, of Faithorn died Monday at Bell Memorial Hospital in Ishpeming.

Mr. Brandt was born March 13, 1900 in Faithorn, son of the late Albert and Ernestine (Rick) Brandt. He attended the Brandt School in Faithorn. He worked at the Manitowoc, Wis., Shipyard from 1942 to 1945 during World War II. Mr. Brandt was later self-employed as a carpenter until his retirement in 1965.

He leaves several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Malvin, Frank, Walter and Arthur Brandt, and three sisters, Eva Turner, Edna Brandt and Anna King.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Miner Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, Rev. Carl Doersch, pastor of Faithorn Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Norway Township Cemetery.
