Mr. Hoss died when accidentally shot by a hunting companion while hunting ducks on Poston Lake. He had hidden outside of the blind to get a better shot, he stepped out from behind the tree to shoot at the same time his hunting partner shot from the blind. Mr. Hoss took the full load of shot directly to the head.
