Harold was a veteran of the United States Navy,serving during World War II. He was a life member of Glendale Heights V.F.W. Post #2377. Before and during his military service, he played semi-pro baseball.
Tod was the husband of Dorothy (nee Petrosky); father of Tod Alan (Eleanore), Cynthia Phillips and Bette (Debbie); grandfather of Courtney, Tod (Joanne) Nelson, Chad, Kiley and Patrick; and great-grandfather of Andrew, Jameson and Allison.
Arrangements entrusted to the Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Road, Glendale Heights.
Burial: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
