Clifton Emmet Clark, 54, loving son, husband, father, brother, and devoted grandfather, passed away on April 30, 1990 at his South Jordan home.


Born March 17, 1936 in Altonah, Utah to William E. and Cleo Maxine Anderson Clark.


He married Sharon M. Elliott on April 13, 1957 in Elko, Nevada. He was a member of the LDS Church, retired electrician Local 354 of IBEW. He loved fishing, hunting, the out-of-doors, and family get-togethers.


He is survived by his wife, Sharon, South Jordan; daughters, Jenny Lynne Caldwell, West Jordan City; Julie Ann Clark Gailey and her husband, Michael Todd Gailey, Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda Lee Caldwell, Tristan Lee Caldwell, Brandon Clark Caldwell, all West Jordan City; mother, Maxine, Vernal; sister, Delores Jones, Salt Lake City; brother, Dee Clark, South Jordan; preceded in death by father, William, and sister, Cleo Jane Riding.


Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 4, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where friends may call on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and Friday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
