WLLLIM MANEBECK - W.3435

Personally appeared William Manebeck of Reading, Jeweler, Nov. 1833 - states he is in his 72nd. year. That he enlisted in the town of Lebanon, Dauphin (now Lebanon) County, in the year 1778 in a Company commanded by Capt. Mings (artificers). Col. Benjamin Flower's Regiment for the period of one year, that at the expiration of said period he was discharged on the 14th. day of April 1779 as will appear by discharge hereto annexed, and signed by Benjamin Flower (certificate still attached) Colonel. That he marched from the town of Lebanon to the city of Philadelphia and remained until the expiration of his term of enlistment, that he received a small bounty but does not recollect how much.


May 30, 1843 - appeared Cath. Mannerbeck, widow of William William (sic. Manebeck) , of Berks County, (gives Captain's name as Minsk) that she was married May 1, 1787, and he died July 15, 1838.
July 22, 1850, Llr. Samuel R. Schmeck, Ex. of Cath. Mannerback, who died Jan. 17, 1849, appears for the heirs.
John G. Marshall deposes July 30, 1350, that Cath. Mannerback left Eliz. Seyfert, Henryetta Schiaeck, Cath, Sheridan and Levan Mannerbecko
