Born Nov. 3, 1918, in Houston, Miss., to William and Gertrude Dell Higgenbotham Brantley, she married Clyde Clemons on Jan. 2, 1933. He died April 23, 1973, in Peoria.
Also preceding her in death are two sons, Jimmy and Gene; and one daughter, Nancy Arbuckle.
Surviving are three daughters, Marti (and Don) Brooks of East Peoria, and Faye (and Lou) Rolofson and Linda Test, both of Creve Coeur; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-greatgrandchildren.
She owned the Sportsman's Club in Peoria for 21 years, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Peoria since 1973.
She attended Lord's Table Church of God in Peoria.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
