MRS. B. C. KIGER

With sadness we record the death of Mrs. Kiger, wife of Benjamin C. Kiger, which occurred at their home near Spraggs, Pa., Monday evening, Nov. 10, of pulmonary trouble. Mrs. Kiger became ill some months ago from hemorrhage of the lungs, which was noted in our paper, at the time. Despite all that medical aid could accomplish, she gradually declined. She was a most highly respected young woman, kind and lovable in disposition and her loss will be severely felt. She and her young husband had but recently gone to housekeeping in a fine new home which he had built the past year and their prospects were bright for a happy and contented life. The home has been made desolate, however, by a disease which could not be warded off and the wife and mother called away. Beside the husband an infant child survives. Deceased was a daughter of Mrs. Sadie Headley, formerly of this county, but now residing in Ohio, and leaves several brothers and sisters to mourn her demise. The funeral was held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Claughton Chapel, services being conducted by Rev. Tipper, of Waynesburg. The interment took place at Fairview cemetery. N. W. Carter, funeral director.
