Married Barbara Callahan September 16, 1819 in Columbiana County, Ohio by his brother David Coy.
Children: Jonas, Susannah, Sarah Ann, Catherine, Wesley, Jesse, Hannah, David, Silas.

Married Elizabeth Roller October 26, 1856 in Mahoning County, Ohio.
Child: Alice

Son of Henry Coy and Hannah Miller Coy.
Brother to David, Samuel, Hannah, John, Margaret (Peggy), Agnes (Nancy), Susannah.

Daniel was one of the very early settlers of Mahoning County, Ohio coming in young manhood to Green Township, settling on wild land situated between Green Village and New Albany, on the Cherry Park Creek, where he developed a farm. He and his wife Barbara moved to Indiana, where she died. Daniel then returned to Pennsylvania where he died. Daniel Coy was first married to Barbara Callahan and second to Elizabeth Roller. He spent his last days at Otter Creek, Pennsylvania. He was a man of gifted intellect, a great reader, and could always debate public questions. His farm in Mahoning County was on the hillside between Greenford and New Albany. He had seven children by his first marriage and one by the second. (Excerpts from Joseph G Butler, Jr's History of Youngstown and Mahoning Valley Ohio).
