Funeral services for Mrs. Franziska Haag were held on Friday, February 19, at 2:30 P.M. from Ebensberger Funeral Home, with the Rev. Theodor Winter, officiating.

Mrs. Haag passed away in Peterson Memorial Hospital on Thursday morning where she had been a patient for eighteen days.

Born in Germany on January 31, 1870, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Giessler [sic], who came to this country when she was fourteen years of age.

In 1891, she was married to Gustav Haag. They spent all their lives living in the Kreutzberg community. Mrs. Haag had attained the age of 90 years.
Surviving are two sons, Emil and Otto Haag, daughters, Mrs. Rudolph (Minnie) Schwarz, Mrs. Otto (Martha) Pfeiffer and Miss Alma Haag, all of Boerne; also 20 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Interment was in the Boerne Cemetery under the direction of Ebensberger Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Hilmar Schwarz, Julius Gombert, R.K. Uecker, Sidney Whitworth, Melvin Haag and LeRoy Pfeiffer
