Samuel Ray Dies In Utah Hospital

Samuel Ray, 66, former resident of Ucon, died early Tuesday morning in a Salt Lake City hospital.
He was born Jan. 8, 1887, at San Pete County, Utah. He was married in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple to Mary Lydia Olsen. They came to Idaho in 1910, living at Willow Creek, then at Ucon for many years before moving to Salt Lake City six years ago.
He was a High Priest in the LDS Church.
He is survived by his widow and the following sons:
Lloyd Ray Sr., Idaho Falls; and Leonard Ray and Louis Ray, Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm. at the Ucon LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Karl Devenport officiating. Friends may call at the Wood Funeral Home from Wednesday morning untiltime of services. Interment will be in the Ucon Cemetery under the direction of the Wood Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Samuel Ray, 76, formerly of Ucon, who died Tuesday in a Salt Lake City hospital, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Ucon LDS Ward Chapel. Bishop Karl Devenport will officiate.
Friends may call at the Wood Funeral Home until time of services. Interment will be in Ucon Cemetery.
