Jim Brown was married to Victoria McFalls. They had nine children: Mamey,Robert McCoy, Joseph W.,Isaac E. (I.E.),Lacey, Samuel,Rosie and Grace Brown. Jim Brown was called "Mink-Eye". When his father-in-law, Joseph Rufus McFalls passed away, Jim rode a horse over the mountain to Spring City, Tennessee, which would have been over a twenty miles ride.
