A service to celebrate her life will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Friendship Baptist Church in Belmont with the Rev. Tom Ravan officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
Mrs. Mull was born March 24, 1926 in Cleveland County, daughter of the late June and Eunie Weaver Pearson.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church on South New Hope Road, the Nellie Mae Millen Sunday School Class and had also taught Sunday School. Mrs. Mull retired from Piedmont Processing Company.
Surviving are husband, Frank Mull of Gastonia, NC, daughter, Vickie Hord of Ft. Mill, SC, sons, Gary L. Blanton and wife, Pam of Belmont, NC and Dennis Blanton and wife, Dolores of Charlotte, grandchildren, Connie Ravan (Tom), Amy Nowell (David), Margie Blanton, Jennifer Blanton, Crystal Blanton, and Callie Blanton, sister, Selma Blanton and husband, Ralph of Shelby, NC, former son-in-law, Jack Hord of Kinston, NC, former daughter-in-law, Janice Weathers of Belmont, NC, step-daughters, Diane Mull and husband, Anthony Meis of Arlington, Va., Aundrea Campbell and husband, Jerry of Ft. Worth, Texas, step-sons, James Mull and wife, Candy of York, SC, Larry Mull and wife Ann and Frank Mull, Jr. all of Gastonia, NC, ten great grand-children, six step-grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Collis Blanton, brother, Jack Pearson, sisters, Nettie Hawkins, Blanche Blanton, Alma Webb, Maxine Ledbetter, Lucille Hopper, Pearl Harrill, Ruby Blanton and Sarah Blanton.
