Age 85 died Thursday, February 04, 2010 at his home. He was born April 8, 1924 to Earl and Gertrude Campbell. Arthur graduated from Roosevelt High and attended Michigan Normal and Iowa State. He proudly served in the Pacific during WWII with the U.S. Navy aboard a landing craft operating near Okinawa, Philippines, New Guinea, and after the war, Japan. In 1950, Arthur married Marion Himmelspach and she survives. Also surviving are his two daughters, Sylvia (Jeff) Bowman and Teresa (Mike) Squires, one granddaughter Charlotte Squires and two step grandsons, Charlie Squires and Conrad Bowman, his sister Mildred (Ivan) Schairer Howell, two nephews, Rodney (Johnnie) Campbell, Paul (Sue) Campbell, five nieces, Jean (Steve) Hornback, Janet ( James )Taylor, Laurel Beyer, Mary (Duane) Bennett, Nancy (David) Rudolph and Patricia Brown. He was preceded in death by his brother Noel. Art was in the coin machine business for many years, then branched out into real estate and his recent interests were the stock market and fishing.
