Services for Thomas P. Mobley, Sr., 80, of near Graham were held at the First Methodist Church in Graham.
Mobley was a pioneer resident of Young County. He died at the family home six miles north of Graham on the Jean Highway. Mobley had a heart attack four days earlier.
He came to Texas in 1888 and moved settled first at Navarro County. Mobley moved to Young County in 1905.
He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survived by his wife; three sons - W.G. Mobley of Graham, T.P. Mobley, Jr. of Breckenridge, Jim L. Mobley of College Station, four daughters - Mrs. G.D. Rothell of Olney, Mrs. Murray Hattox of Hebbronville, MS, Miss Alice Mobley of Odessa; Mrs. Aubrey Pyeatt of Fort Worth; one brother - Lloyd Mobley of Oklahoma City; three sisters - Mrs. Roy McBrayer of Oklahoma City, OK, Mrs. Charles Rusk of Wichita, KS; Mrs. Clarence Wells of Blue Jacket, OK.
