He struggled with an immune deficiency disease throughout his life but it never seemed to get him down. He was always friendly and pleasant to be with.
Nathan enjoyed outdoor activities with family and friends, and the family cabin was his favorite place to gather, play games, hike, hunt, and enjoy everyone. Nathan graduated from Murray High School, served a mission to San Diego, CA, and later pursued a photography career with his brother, Paul who was his best friend; the family referred to them as "the boys".
He loved serving in the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was dedicated to his responsibilities. He met Grace Chiu, the love of his life, married her in the Salt Lake Temple on November 30, 2007, and moved to Los Angeles to start a new life.
He is survived by his wife, Grace, and siblings: Esther, Joan, LeeAnn Wilkins, Connie West, George (Cynthia), Paul (Cynthia) and Sarah (Olaf) Questereit and many nieces and nephews who love him and will miss his fun loving personality. His parents, George Vance and Lelia Halliday, preceded him in death.
