Robert Emerson Summers was the biological son of Basil Wheat Isaacs and Ethel Bessie (Summers) Isaacs. His birth records show he was originally named Basil Wheat Isaacs, Jr.

Robert E. Summers, 70, Shelton, died Monday, Sept 16, 1991 in St. Peter Hospital, Olympia.
He was born Dec. 27, 1920, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Mr. Summers retired from Metro of Seattle after 25 years of service. He moved to Shelton in 1985 from Seattle.
Surviving Mr. Summers are his wife, Mary, of the family home; two sons, Michael McGraw, Des Moines, and Monte Summers, Shelton; two daughters, Starla Sage, Edmonds, and Donna Brock, Seattle, also three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
There will be no funeral service for Mr. Summers. Inurnment will be in Shelton Memorial Park.
