Age 56 of 1001 Mayflower Road, died at 1 a.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was retired from the South Bend Fire Dept., & had lived here all his life. Services at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Married to Cecelia Mejer on 2-16-1946, who died on 11-22- 1972.
He is survived by 4 daughters; Mrs. Jeanette M. Chrobot, Mrs. Patricia A. Barricklow, Mrs. Henrietta K. Stachurski, and Ms. Mary Jane Borowski, all of South Bend; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lottie Zakrzewski and a brother, Anthony Borowski, both of South Bend.
