LESTER (LES) SWEARENGIN married Lois E. in 1930 and together they had six wonderful children before her untimely death on Mar. 26, 1949.

Their children were; Paul, b. 9-1-1932, .. Buena may, b. 12-26-1933, .. Vern, b. 1-7-1935, .. Janice, b. 9-4-1937, ..Danny Joe, b. 8-30-1940, and Bona Beth, b. 10-29-1944.

Following the death of Lois, Lester was married to Adah May (Rich) who superbly took over her role as wife and mother to the family of six children. They lived within the city of Republic for some years and then on a small farm near Billings, MO. where they raised cattle and maintained gardens for additional food raised by their own hands. Lester was a gentle man, loving of his wife and family and passed away peacefully on Aug. 8, 1986 at his own home, outside in one of his workshops where he could be found at work most days.
