AMISS, F. THOMAS (DR.) age 62 for 40 years a Luray physician & specialist died suddenly from a coronary attack Tuesday evening of this week at his country home in Luray. His death occurred on the same day in 1954 as his brother Edward who was also a physician. Frederick Thomas Amiss was born 03 May 1900 in Luray s/o Frederick Taylor Amiss & Mary Caroline Weaver Amiss. He was married in 1933 to Ruth Broyles of Luray. Children, Mrs. Robert (Ruth Ann) Claytor of Manassas & Mrs. William (Frances Graham) Menefee of Huntsville, Al. Sister, Ruth Hamilton of Luray. One grandson. (PNC - issue 17 Jul 1962)
