"Myrtle McAloon died Monday at her home in Fir Tree Park, Shelton. She was born March 5, 1898, in Bucoda, and was married to the late Robert McAloon. They came to Shelton in 1931. Survivors include a son, Donald McAloon of Tacoma; two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Betty) Robertson of Shelton, and Mrs. Alan (Dorothy) Carnes of Everett; two sisters, Margaret Rushmer of Centralia, and Mrs. Minnie Thompkins of Oklahoma; three brothers, Glen Davies and Robert Davies, both of Aberdeen, and Ed Davies of Ocosta; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
