John Leon Crossman
Graveside services for John Leon Crossman, who died May 9 at Valsetz, Ore., will be conducted at the Veterans Cemetery here at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Mr. Crossman made his home at The Dalles, Ore.
Born in Shelton, January 29, 1901, he spent many years here. He enlisted in the Marine Corps May 18 of 1918 and was discharged August 15, 1919.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Blanch Crossman, The Dalles, Ore.; two sons, Delbert and Lynn, Seattle; four sisters, Mrs. Cecil Adkinson, of Bellingham, Mrs. Mamie Labor of Los Angeles; Mrs. Julia Hatfield, Cle Elum; Mrs. Myrtle Lindsey, Shelton; two brothers, Charles Crossman, Aberdeen, and David Crossman, Seattle; stepdaughter Anita, stepson William and two grandchildren.
