MRS. MARY A. THOMAN

Mrs. Mary A. Thoman, widow of Amos Thoman, died at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kopp, 24 South Albemarle Street, York, from the effects of two strokes of apoplexy. She was aged 80 years, five months, and 18 days.
Mrs. Thoman was in her usual good health until about 10 o'clock Tuesday morning when she was stricken with apoplexy. A second stroke followed, later in the day.
Besides the daughter with whom she made her home, she leaves the following children: J. T. Thoman, Mrs. Charles Myers and Mrs. Edward Strausbaugh, all of York; 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Henry Hamme, York; George Hamme, East Berlin; Mrs. Julian Carver, and Mrs. Jacob Kerchner, Hanover, and Mrs. Emory Sterner, York.
Short funeral services will be conducted at the Kopp residence at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Further services will be held in the Fourth United Brethren Church, York, of which the deceased was a member. The Rev. C. C. Miller will officiate. Interment will take place in Jefferson Cemetery.
