Kenneth Lee Crumpler, 50, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Norfolk Health Care. He was born in Norfolk on April 21, 1959 the son of the late Frank Allen and Iris Snell Crumpler.

He was an avid musician and enjoyed playing with friends. He enjoyed working with wood. He also loved traveling to the Gulf Coast of Florida and the Caribbean. He had an acid wit and a wicked sense of humor that we will all miss.

He retired from civil service with the Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, Mississippi after thirty years of service.

He is survived by his wife of seven years, Rhonda; his son, Justin Crumpler of Suffolk; brother Allen Crumpler and wife, Wendy of Mt Pleasant, SC. Also surviving are two nieces, Carie and Cassie Crumpler; two grandchildren, Michael and Leighann. He is also survived by his Uncle Calvin and Aunt Nannie Miller of Norfolk; Aunt Alice Crumpler of Norfolk.

A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake 23322 Reverend Tom Mercer will officiate.
