Jessie A. Timmons of Keota, Oklahoma passed away February 2, 2010 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 98. She was born February 2, 1912 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Jim and Bertha McClean Goff. Jessie is survived by one daughter, Freda Moore of Keota, Oklahoma; two sisters, Marie Autry of Madera, California, Louise Shoopman of Keota, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Carol Bennett and husband, Bruce; Ronnie Brown and wife, Barbara; Patsy Kates and husband, Glenn; Tommy Brown; Linda Wilson and husband, Bill; Darlene Oldham; Tony Dix and wife, Sylvia; Barbara Owens and husband, Elbert; and Debbie Ross & husband, Kevin; 31 grandchildren; 47 great great grandchildren and 5 great-great-great grandchildren. Jessie was preceded in death by three children, Imogene Brown, Hazel Brigance, and Carl Dix; grandchildren, Davey Brown, Jerry Dix, and Doyle Dix; four sisters, Pauline Ward, Myrtle Potter, Juanita Rowland, Lucille Goff; and one brother, Eugene Goff. Services will be Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church with interment at Keota Cemetery.
