Lemuel Richardson, Jr., s. of Lemuel Richardson & Anna Rust, was b. at Coventry, Conn. Dec. 13, 1752 and d. at Waitsfield, VT Sept. 16, 1826, Æ 74. Per the Vermont Vital Records, he was interred at Waitsfield's Common Cemetery, but whether he has an extant gravestone there requires further research.
He is the paternal grandson of the memorialist's ancestors. He was a saddle and harness maker at Tolland, was briefly at neighboring Stafford, Conn. in the early 1800s, but following his wife's death relocated to Waitsfield, VT.
On June 2, 1774 at Tolland, Conn., Lemuel m. Rachel Lothrop, the only child of Jonathan Lothrop & Rachel Ladd, b. at Tolland, Conn. Oct. 22, 1754.
