PLAINVIEW, Dec. 10 -Funeral services for Mrs. S. M. Rawdon, 70, of Plainview will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the 20th and Utica Street Church of Christ.
Paul Epps, minister of the church, and Robert Hawkins, minister of the 9th and Columbia Street Church of Christ here, will officiate.
The body will lie in state at the Lemons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Plainview Cemetery.
Mrs. Rawdon died at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Plainview Hospital and Clinic. She had suffered a heart attack two days earlier.
Mrs. Rawdon, born June 11, 1888, in Ellis County, was Sarah Jane Warren before her marriage Dec. 25, 1910, in S. M. Rawdon at Mansfield. Mr. Rawdon is among survivors.
The family came to Plainview in 1937 from Floydada where they had lived for 13 years. Prior in moving to Floydada they lived at Roswell, N. M.
Mrs. Rawdon was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors besides the husband, are three daughters, Bernice Rawdon of Plainview, Mrs. L. L. Remaklus of Boise, Ida., and Mrs. Harold J. Trinder, Carlsbad, N. M.; one son, R. J. Rawdon, Plainview; two brothers, Tom Warren of Kerens, and Ed Warren of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Mae Craig, Grand Prairie; and four grandchildren.
