Friends here were saddened to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Effie Edwards, who passed away May 7, at San Carlos, Calif.

Effie Stouffer, daughter of Addison and Melva Stouffer, was born at Lake Park where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Jack Kramer and they made their home at Bigelow, Minn., where he passed away and was buried. She was the mother of three sons; Donald, Harold and Addison. Addison passed away at Bigelow in Dec. 1957.

She was united in marriege to Calvin Edwards, March 1938, and they lived at Jackson, Minn., for several years. He passed away almost ten years ago, Dec., 1949 at Jackson, Minn. She has been one of the cooks in a school at San Carlos for many years.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 11 at San Carlos, where she was interred.

She leaves two sons, Major Donald Kramer of Atlanta, Georgia, and Harold Kramer of Denison, Texas; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Three brothers also survive, Howard and Ray Stouffer of San Carlos, Calif., and Carl Stouffer of Buckingham, Iowa; two sisters, Louclia, Mrs. Lon Gleason of Cedar Falls, and Mabel, Mrs. Harry Jockheck of San Carlos, Calif.
