Daniel Thayer Barnfather, 95, of Lake Placid, moved to Lake Placid in 1978 from North Miami Beach after he retired from Milgo Electronics. He was active in the men's club at Lake Country Golf Club for more than 30 years. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Davis, Judith Stainbrook and Karen Whittington; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
