Maxine Ruth Pickett Ingo, 78, of Ivanhoe, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2002, in the Twin County Community Hospital. She was born in Carroll County, the daughter of the late Michael Leftridge Pickett & Blanche Gertrude Monahan Pickett. Mrs. Ingo was a member of Forrest United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her husband, Glen I. Ingo; two sons & daughter-in-law, Glenn "Barry" Ingo of Blythe, CA, and the Rev. Mike & Glenda Ingo of Max Meadows; three grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy and Hannah Ingo; one sister & brother-in-law, Juanita & Foster Lawson of Ivanhoe; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Reese Funeral Home with Mr. Jack King officiating. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Reese Funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday or at the residence at any time. The family suggests that those who prefer may make memorial donations to the Lead Mines Rescue Squad, PO Box 502, Austinville, VA 24312. Reese Funeral Home in Austinville, VA, is in charge of the arrangements.
