Edward R. Michaels Of Plainfield, IL passed away at his home in Apache Junction, AZ on Jan. 30, 2010. Ed was a World War II Veteran who served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked at Rickard Circular Folding Company in Chicago for 47 years as the superintendent of bindery and folding. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Lorraine Mary; their three children, Larry Michaels (Terri Stubblefield) of Marseilles, IL, Kathleen Murray Patterson (David) of Willow Springs, IL and Debbie Satterfield of Jacksonville, NC. He was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren, Lisa Baker (Dale), Kelly, Joe and Erin Murray, Brian Michaels and Shannon Bracy; and one great-grandchild, Marcus Baker. Funeral Services Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
