Mary B. Needham
Mary B. Needham, 78, of Marietta, died Saturday, July 4, 1998 at Emory Hospital.
A native of Gilmer County, she was the daughter of the late Lester M. Brown and Minnie Lee Morris Brown. A resident of Monroe most of her life, she was a retired nurse's aide having been employed at the Walton Medical Center. She was a member of Alcova Mountain Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 6, at Alcova Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Bolton officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Buddy Rawlins, Edward Stone, Russell Crowe, Tony Mulkey, Dannie Mulkey, Kent Allen and Ray Brown.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jackie and Wayne Elkins of Ellenwood; sons and daughter-in-law; Tommie and Doris Needham of Chumockla, Fla. and Charles Lynn Needham of Marietta; sisters, Bennie Lee Stone of Jackson and Elsie B. Mulkey of Woodstock, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Arthur Bowick Inc. Funeral Directors was in charge of the arrangements.
