Anna Ida Farrer Cox passed away at the Life Care Center in Bountiful.
Born in Jamestown, Idaho, June 2, 1915, the sixth of 11 children to John Ernest and Minnie Rasmussen Farrer.
She attended school in Provo, Utah, graduating from Provo High.
Married Kenneth LaVon Cox, February 12, 1936 in the St. George Temple. They are the parents of eight children.
She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a great love for the church. She served in many positions, her favorite, working with primary children.
Mother loved children and especially her grandchildren. She has 47 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren. Anna was a loving, caring and kind person. She will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; grandsons, Christopher Hiatt and Daniel Cox; daughter-in-law, Glenna Bryson; siblings, Edna Harrison, Ralph Farrer, Walter Farrer, Hilda Stewart, Millie Johnson, Paul Farrer, Bruce Farrer and RoDene Forsythe. Survived by her eight children, Donna (Blaine) Hiatt, Kenneth K. (Jan), Arthur (Jean), Genevieve (Keros) Brown, Ernie, Hilda (Bruce) Empey, Leonard (Sandra), LaMonte (Tina) and brothers, Glenn Farrer and Monte Farrer.
Funeral services will be held Mon., March 10th, 11 a.m. at the Orchard Stake Center, 3599 S. Orchard Drive, Bountiful, UT, with a visitation Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the church and Monday, 9:30-10:30 prior to services at the church.
Interment at the Lake View Cemetery, 1640 E. Lakeview Dr., Bountiful.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to Primary Children's Medical Center in Anna's name.
