CASHTON, Wis.-Mrs. Elsie Cary Bennett, 82, of Cashton, died at her home Tuesday morning after a long illness. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Dell Evangelical United Brethren Church. Rev. Ed. ward Johnson officiating, and burial will in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Torkelson's Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. The former Elsie Clark was born Nov. 2, 1880, to Mr. and Mrs. James Clark. She married Seward Cary in 1897, and he died in 1938. She then married Charles Bennett in 1952, and he died in 1957. Survivors are two sons, Clyde Cary of Westby and Philip Cary of Cashton; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Clark of Viroqua and Mrs. Julius Bold of Galesville.
