Services for Mrs. Minnie R. Burgess, 77, of 1923 Beaver Avenue, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's funeral home with burial in White Oak Cemetery, northeast of Des Moines.
Mrs. Burgess who died of a heart ailment Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, was born in Worthington, Minnesota and had been a Des Moines resident 49 years.
She was a member of the Christ Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Surviving are her husband Walter E.; a son Marion L. of Omaha, Nebraska; her sisters Mrs. Alphonso Smith of Denver, Colorado; and Mrs. Ida Bogue of Berwick, and two grandsons.
