James G. Bodkin Services Friday

MILAN, Tenn.-James Clarence Bodkin died Tuesday in South Fulton, Tenn. after a heart attack while at work. He was 39. He was a welder. He was born in Gibson county and had lived in Weakley county before moving to South Fulton a few months ago.

He was a veteran of World War 2 and he was a Baptist.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Esther Bradley Bodkin; a son, James Ronald Bodkin of Greenfield; four daughters. Miss Paula Faye Bodkin, Miss Deborah Ann Bodkin, Miss Bonnie Lou Bodkin, Miss Theresa Down Bodkin all of Greenfield: Three brothers, Edkin Bodkin of Memphis; Martin Bodkin of Greenfield, Henry Bodkin of Pomona, Calif.; three sisters. Mrs. Era Paris of Milan, Mrs. Katie Kelley of Columbus, S. C., Mrs. Lena Winsept, Chicago. Ill.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church near Milan. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with Bodkin Funeral Home in charge.
